The Privacy Policy of Military Reunions to Remember (hereafter referred to as "MRTR") demonstrates our commitment to your privacy rights. Since we gather certain types of information about our clients and respective Associations, we want those Association Members (hereafter referred to as "Clients") members users to fully understand the terms and conditions surrounding the collection and use of that information. This privacy statement discloses what information we gather, how we use it, and how to correct or change it. 1. MRTR Gathers and Tracks Information Military Reunions to Remember (MRTR) gathers and tracks information about our Clients that has been submitted to our registration system. This information enables us to produce registration packages, name tags, tour lists and hotel registration information for use by RTR during the registration process. Clients may also receive additional information from RTR concerning other military reunions in which they may be interested. RTR gathers client information in the following processes: Cookies: RTR minimizes the use of cookies on our web site to only those necessary to properly route users within our site. RTR provides links to other reunion groups as well as suppliers military related memorabilia which may be of interest to our Clients. These sites may choose to use cookies to better promote their products and services. Usage Tracking: RTR tracks web site information related to overall user traffic patterns throughout our site in order to make decisions regarding content and services. Reunion Registration: During reunion registration, RTR requires client information in order to prepare reunion registration packages. Client Feedback: Clients have the ability to contact the RTR to provide us with their feedback. RTR does not retain this information for any purpose other than to respond to the user. Outside Links This site contains links to other sites. Clients will be taken to a separate site if they click on one of these links. MRTR is not responsible for the privacy practices or content of any secondary Web Sites or related reunion links. We encourage all users to review the privacy policy of any site they visit.
2. Use of Information
MRTR uses information voluntarily provided by Clients and members of the respective Reunion Association in order to estimate the number of participants in tours, banquet and buffet requirements and hotel rooming requirements. Mailing lists created for our Clients will be used for the purpose of the Association's Reunion only and will not be sold or distributed by MRTR for any reason. We also use information, which clients voluntarily provide, in order to produce reunion registration packages, name tags, meal and other event tickets and verification of hotel registration. RTR also creates internal reports on user demographics and reunion statistics for our clients. MRTR does not include any personally identifiable information in our reports.
3. Sharing of Information
MRTR uses the information described above to tailor each event during your reunion and to produce individual registration packages for reunion attendees. This is essential to providing services to our clients. We share personally identifiable information with several suppliers of military memorabilia in the event Clients wish to contract for items such as give-away's, coffee mugs or ball caps. MRTR does not control the practices of our suppliers or third party marketers. All information provided to MRTR by a registrant may be used ensure quality services are provided to your Association.
4. Delete/Deactivate Policy
MRTR maintains a data base of all Association members who attend a reunion and has registered with us. Clients or Association Members may request to have all information deleted from our data base at any time. Correcting, updating, or requesting the deletion of information that you have provided may be accomplished by e-mailing Privacy Issues
and letting us know.
5. Security Policy MRTR takes every reasonable precaution to protect our Client's information. When you submit information, your information is protected both on-line and off-line in accordance with applicable laws, regulations, and industry standards. We can be reached via e-mail at Privacy .
