Many times the Reunion Chairman is overwhelmed by the amount of work required to arrange a high quality event. As a way of saving time and work, some planners decide to return to the same location that the group has been before. Of course it is true that for many military groups there are locations that have special meaning to the members. For example, cities with a strong Army presence might be of special interest to your Army group, you might want to go to the namesake city for your particular ship or perhaps somewhere close to your particular service academy. 

The goal of the Military Reunion Planner should be to organize a reunion where the members can gather and enjoy the camaraderie that makes military service so unique. Your event must however, be interesting and entertaining for everyone. The cost of attending a military reunion is substantial. While it may be tempting to return to the same location year after year, it is much more beneficial to the group to travel to different locations each year. America is a beautiful country and we have an exciting and interesting history. As the Reunion Chairman, you have the chance to give your members the opportunity to see what a beautiful country we live in. Military Reunions to Remember offers the planner the Premier Reunion Program. We have several cities where we have negotiated reunion programs in advance. We select cities that are reunion friendly to military groups. A representative from MRTR arranges for a site inspection of many of the area hotels. Arrangements are made with sales personnel to host multiple reunions for groups represented by MRTR. The group room rates are negotiated in advance.  Maximum inclusive menu prices as well as minimum complimentary requirements are also already negotiated.   Hotels are selected based on quality of service, condition of the property and number of rooms available for specific groups. As a participant in our Premier Program, your on site visit will include those properties best suited for your size group and reunion itinerary. One specific tour company is selected and a large variety of tours are available to choose from. Per person tour prices are also negotiated. 

The advantages are excellent for both MRTR and your group. The room rates are as low as possible, tour package prices have been reduced and each hotel is ready to make additional concessions on meals, complimentary sleeping rooms and meeting rooms. Our staff develops a strong rapport with the local Convention and Visitors Bureau and a greater familiarity with local restaurants and other area attractions. We have a large selection of tour packages available for those groups who want to "get out and see the sights". Of course there is no requirement for your group to join our Premier Program, however it is an option you might consider as a way of keeping costs low while still having an excellent reunion.
